Ironkidz this Weekend

With a focus on participation, personal goals and having fun, the event is open to anyone aged between 7 and 15. There are two categories 7 -10 years and 11 - 15 years and a Splash n Dash for the 5 - 7-year-olds.

Participants swim, bike and run one of three courses around the Taupo lakefront, with the chance to take home trophies and prize money for their schools.

Athletes and supporters can continue the fun after the event at Taupo DeBretts, making the most of the new Big Bounce Air Pad and tipping bucket in the DeBretts Warm Water Playground.

Waipahihi School is running the event as a fundraiser for new shade sails.
